In the 1980s, renowned biochemist Dr. David Yesair created Lym-X-Sorb®, a novel, structured lipid inspired by Andreina, a close friend of the family. Andreina struggled with a digestive disease that prevented her from properly digesting fatty acids, the most calorie-dense nutrient.

To help her absorb these essential fats without needing enzymes, Dr. Yesair developed Lym-X-Sorb, and in 1984, he founded BioMolecular Products Inc. Vytala has obtained the worldwide exclusive rights to this technology to continue Dr. Yesair’s work and provide this lipid technology to patients in the US.
